Scones recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 70 g butter
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 150 ml milk

PREPARATION

STEP 1:

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Then add the butter and knead the dough by hand until it forms a crumbly mass. Then add milk and let the dough soften quickly without kneading it.

STEP 2:

Finally, roll out the dough into a 2 cm high dough and cut out about 16 scones.

STEP 3:

Now you can place the scones on your baking tray, brush them with milk and put them in the preheated oven (200 degrees) for about 15 minutes. Tip: The scones taste best fresh!
